The word rapture is derived from the Middle French word for ecstasy through the medieval Latin future participle raptūra meaning “about to snatch, about to seize, about to carry off” from the Latin word raptus “seized”.

The word rapture is also used for the mystical connection with God or for eternal life in heaven.

Their duet, the various phases of which are coloured, and that is literally, by Michal HōR's light design, is a statement that is influenced also by the current situation.

Four images as different confessions. Micro-stories in which scenes are created by human tissue that evolves and transforms.

How do the thoughts of repetition, spirituality or communion move in the body?

The music component is also crucially important, the unmediated relationship of thought with the sound environment, the perfect tandem with movement. It brings more power, sometimes as a contrast, sometimes to support everything.

Creating scenes, images that bear the whole story, is only one of its parts. Concrete scenes transcend to abstract, which offers space for broader and deeper search for manifold meanings.

The most significant benefit of the project is not only the process, the interesting and relevant topic but also the opportunity for artists from different countries to share their life experience, to get acquainted with new movement registers and different approaches to creative work.
