The production OBRYS is the author's commentary on marginal events that inevitably influenced the direction and development of society. The contour is the sense of the impact of the past on the present. The decision anticipates the future that is more fragile than it might seem. The moment of decision is crucial, but the past calmly offers a different perspective, paving the way for selective memory.
The current staging tradition gives opportunity for progress, especially in the development of interdisciplinary performance. The actions of the actors who move smoothly from sung parts to the sequences of contemporary dance in connection with the light design create a tangle that has rich potential for the choreographer.
The audience is confronted with a consistent form that is based on a non-narrative approach of the creators and is based mainly on the visuality that communicates through images such as code, symbols and free associations. The performer’s body in connection with specific space, in this case the Mozart's Hall, is one of the determinants of the production. The potential of the space present both in the architecture and in the characteristic red colour of the hall is used in work with active light, creating plasticity of the space and atmosphere. In this production, the author wants to break down the hierarchy of theatre components and the boundaries between them (namely between text, music, light, actor and space).
